THAI MASSAGE

Thai Massage is an ancient healing practice that combines acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. Originating in Thailand more than 2,500 years ago, it is often referred to as “lazy man’s yoga” due to the practitioner guiding the recipient through a series of stretches while applying rhythmic pressure along energy lines of the body, known as “Sen.”

Unlike traditional Western massage, Thai massage is typically performed on a mat on the floor, and the recipient remains fully clothed in comfortable attire. The therapist uses hands, elbows, knees, and feet to apply pressure and perform stretching techniques that help release tension, increase flexibility, and restore balance to the body and mind.

Benefits of Thai Massage include:

  • Improved circulation and energy flow

  • Relief from muscle tension and stiffness

  • Enhanced flexibility and joint mobility

  • Stress reduction and deep relaxation

  • Realignment of posture and body mechanics

Thai Massage is both therapeutic and meditative, making it an ideal choice for individuals seeking holistic healing and balance in their physical and mental well-being.
